Heatloss Calculator: This user-friendly tool allows for the input of room dimensions in either metres or feet, with the capability to set target indoor temperatures (ranging from 12°C to 24°C) and outside temperatures (-30°C to +5°C), including Fahrenheit equivalents. Upon entering these parameters, the calculator outputs the heat loss in Watts and BTUs per hour, broken down into:

<li>Ventilation heat loss—heat lost through air exchange.</li>
<li>Fabric heat loss—heat transfer through walls, floors, and ceilings.</li>
<li>Total heat loss—the sum of ventilation and fabric losses.</li>

This comprehensive data enables precise radiator selection, recommending units rated above the calculated total heat loss to ensure adequate heating. Additionally, the tool can simulate potential energy savings from improvements such as double glazing, cavity wall insulation, or loft insulation by allowing multiple room surveys and aggregating the differences to assess overall house performance. The application also features calculations for heating times based on outdoor temperature and inputs such as flow rates, return rates, and Mean Water Temperature (MWT), incorporating manufacturer correction factors for more accurate radiator performance predictions.

Radiator Calculator: This function estimates the length or power output of existing radiators using data from leading UK manufacturers. Users select the radiator type, specify height and length (in mm or inches), and choose a Delta T to obtain an estimated power output. The results present a range—minimum to maximum—and an average value, facilitating assessments such as verifying whether a radiator is sufficient for a given space. Conversely, by inputting the desired output and radiator type, users can determine the necessary radiator length. Supported radiator types include single panel, single convector, double panel, double convector, and triple convector variants.

Result Management: Once calculations are complete, results can be emailed directly from the app, saved to the device, or exported as text files compatible with applications like Dropbox, Google Drive, and Evernote. This functionality supports comprehensive project documentation and facilitates aggregate heating load calculations across multiple rooms or entire properties.

Converter: This straightforward tool offers rapid conversions between Watts and BTU/h, requiring only a single input value for immediate calculation of the equivalent measurement.

Guide: To assist users in maximizing the utility of the Radiator Calculator, a concise mini-guide is included.
